TZUN

Official rules: Tzun DGX Spark sweepstakes

1. No purchase necessary

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or payment does not improve your chances of winning. This is a sweepstakes: the winners are chosen at random. VOID IN NEW YORK AND FLORIDA, OUTSIDE THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

2. Sponsor

Tzun, Inc., 1060 Lincoln Ave., Suite 20 #1210, San Jose, CA 95125 ("Tzun"). The sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, TechCrunch or the organisers of TechCrunch Disrupt, NVIDIA, Viture or Yubico; section 15 covers the social media platforms.

3. Who can enter

Open only to individuals who, when they enter, are 18 years of age or older and legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, excluding residents of New York and Florida. Not eligible: the employees, officers and directors of Tzun, Inc. and anyone else who staffs the Tzun table or helps Tzun run the sweepstakes, paid or unpaid (a member of the audience who rolls the dice at the draw is not excluded by this); the staff of TechCrunch, its parent company and their affiliates, the judges of TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, and the staff of the contractors engaged to run TechCrunch Disrupt 2026; and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and each of their spouses) and the members of the households, whether related or not, of each of these people. Before entering, each entrant confirms on the iPad that they are 18 or older and a legal resident of the US (50 states or DC), not of New York or Florida. A visitor who does not confirm this, for example a visitor who lives outside the United States, may still play the game and receives a receipt, but is not entered in the sweepstakes. Also not eligible, under US sanctions and export-control law: (a) any person on a US government restricted-party list, including the Treasury Department’s Specially Designated Nationals list and the Commerce Department’s Entity List; (b) residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, the Crimea region of Ukraine and the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Russia, Belarus and Syria; and (c) any person to whom awarding a prize is prohibited by US sanctions or export-control law. Tzun checks the eligibility of each potential winner before awarding a prize, may screen any potential winner against US government lists, and screens the winner of the DGX Spark against the US government’s Consolidated Screening List before handing it over.

4. Entry period

Entries open at the Tzun table on Tue 13 Oct 2026 at 8:00 a.m. PT and close on Thu 15 Oct 2026 at 10:35 a.m. PT, before the draw (the "entry period"). Entries can be made only while the Tzun table is open during the show hours of TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 (Tue 13 and Wed 14 Oct 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT, and Thu 15 Oct 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT), at the Tzun table in the Startup Battlefield 200 area, Moscone West, 800 Howard St., San Francisco, CA 94103. After entries close, the game stays open to play, apart from a pause for the draw, until the show closes that day, but a play after the close is not an entry. The booth computer’s clock is the official clock of the sweepstakes.

5. How to enter

Play the drawing game on the iPad at the Tzun table. After your play, the iPad asks whether you want to enter the draw. To enter: tick the box to confirm that you are eligible, give your email address, accept these official rules and the privacy notice, and tap Enter the draw; playing needs no email, and you can play without entering. Each entry gets an entry code and a salt, printed on your entry receipt, shown on the iPad and emailed to the address you give: keep them, because they are how you claim a prize. If the receipt does not print, write down or photograph the code and salt on the screen; if the email does not arrive, the printed receipt is enough.

6. One entry per person

One entry per person for the whole entry period, however many times you play and whatever email address you use. Entries made for someone else, in bulk or by any automated means are void. The booth does not accept a second entry with an email address already entered, or the same mailbox written differently; the game still counts. Tzun may disqualify every entry of a person who knowingly enters more than once, for example with different email addresses; where a second entry is an honest mistake, only the later entries are void and the first stands.

7. Prizes and approximate retail values

Five prizes, drawn in this order. Prizes 1, 2 and 3: one YubiKey 5C NFC two-pack each (two Yubico YubiKey 5C NFC security keys), approximate retail value (ARV) $105 each. Prize 4: Viture Luma Ultra XR glasses, ARV $599. Prize 5: NVIDIA DGX Spark Founders Edition, 4 TB, ARV $5,299. Total ARV of all prizes: $6,213. ARVs are normal US retail prices, not sale prices, as of 7 Oct 2026 (B&H Photo for the DGX Spark; the Amazon list price for the glasses; Best Buy for the YubiKeys); a winner receives no difference between the ARV and the actual value of a prize. The DGX Spark is the unit shown and used as the demonstration computer at the Tzun table during the show, awarded with its original factory drive; it is a used demonstration unit, not new, and its ARV is the normal retail price of a new unit. Prizes are awarded as is, without any warranty from Tzun, and no manufacturer warranty is transferred to the winner; the winner of the DGX Spark accepts NVIDIA’s software licence terms themselves, as its first user, when they first switch it on. No cash or other substitution, and no assignment or transfer of a prize, except that Tzun may substitute a prize of equal or greater ARV if a prize becomes unavailable. Limit one prize per person.

8. Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the entry period. For example, with 500 entries each entry has a 5 in 500 chance of winning one of the five prizes and a 1 in 500 chance of winning the DGX Spark.

9. How the winners are chosen

The winners are chosen at random in one public draw at the Tzun table, shown on the booth screen from about ten minutes before 11:00 a.m. PT: the commitment, the fixed list of entries, the dice roll and the reveal of the secret number come first, and the drawing of the winners begins on Thu 15 Oct 2026 at 11:00 a.m. PT. The draw is designed so that nobody, Tzun included, can choose or predict the winners, and anyone can check it afterwards. Before entries open, Tzun publishes a commitment to a secret random number (its SHA-256 digest) together with the draw rules. Each entry is recorded only as a salted digest of its entry code, in the order the entries are made, and the records are timestamped and anchored on the Ethereum Sepolia testnet (or the Ethereum Hoodi testnet, its fallback). When entries close, the list of entries is fixed and its digest recorded. A volunteer from the audience then rolls five ten-sided dice. Tzun reveals the secret number, anyone can check that it matches the commitment, and the winners are computed from the secret, the fixed list of entries and the dice, prize by prize in the order in section 7, so that no entry wins twice. The computation and everything needed to repeat it are published at verify.tzun.ai/e/disrupt-2026 after the draw. Winners are named only by the position and digest of their entry record, never by entry code or name. On the booth screen, a winning entry is also shown with the play it came from: the word, the AI’s guess, the answer given, when it was entered and, only if a person approved it for the screen, the drawing. Before the secret number is revealed, the draw waits for the anchor over the closed list of entries to be final; if it is not final by the draw time (11:00 a.m. PT), or cannot become final by then, Tzun says so aloud, the draw goes on with the records’ timestamps alone, the published draw proof says so, and the anchor is published once it is final. Likewise, if the record that closes the list of entries still has no timestamp shortly before the draw, Tzun may say so aloud and draw without it once the anchor over the closed list is final, and the published draw proof says so. Until the secret number is revealed nothing is decided, and the draw may be stopped and started again under the same rules, with the dice as they lie, for example if the digits entered do not match the dice; once the secret number is revealed and shown to match the commitment, nothing in the draw is redone and its result is final, and the entries it draws remain potential winners and alternates until they claim under section 10.

10. Notification and claiming a prize

Winners do not need to be present at the draw. A winner who is at the Tzun table during the draw, or comes to it before the show closes that day, can claim there by showing the entry code and salt on their entry receipt, and has 14 days after the draw for anything else the claim needs. Tzun emails every other potential winner at the email address given at entry within five days after the draw. To claim, a potential winner must, within 14 days after that email is sent: (a) send the entry code and salt from their entry receipt, which must reproduce the digest of the winning entry; (b) confirm their eligibility and give the details needed to deliver the prize, for which a reply to Tzun’s email is enough; and (c) for the DGX Spark, also give Tzun a one-page declaration that they are eligible under section 3 and accept these official rules, including the release in section 15, and a completed IRS Form W-9 (section 12); both can be given electronically, or in person at the handover if it takes place within the time to claim (14 days after Tzun’s email, or after the draw for a winner who claims at the Tzun table), and neither needs a notary. A potential winner who does not claim in time, cannot show a code and salt that reproduce the winning entry, or is not eligible, is disqualified; an email that cannot be delivered does not by itself disqualify anyone, and does not extend the time to claim, which still runs from the day the email was sent. The prize then goes to that prize’s alternates in order, alternate 1 first; Tzun emails an alternate within five days after the prize passes to them, and the alternate claims in the same way. The draw chooses up to three alternates for each prize at the same time as the winners, by continuing the same published computation after the last prize: all of prize 1’s alternates first, then prize 2’s, and so on, each the next entry not already drawn for a prize or an earlier alternate. The alternates are published with the draw. If no alternate claims, that prize is not awarded.

11. Delivery of prizes

A winner who claims at the Tzun table receives the prize there, except the DGX Spark. The DGX Spark runs the booth’s demonstration until the show closes on Thu 15 Oct 2026. After the show, out of public view, the drive used during the show is removed and its original factory drive refitted; the DGX Spark is then handed over in person, at a time and place agreed with the winner, or shipped as below, once the claim (with the declaration in section 10), the screening in section 3 and the Form W-9 in section 12 are complete. Every prize not handed over in person is shipped by ground service, at Tzun’s expense, to the winner’s address in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia (not New York or Florida), within 30 days after Tzun has verified the claim. Tzun does not ship prizes outside that territory, and a winner pays nothing to receive a prize, shipping and handling included. Prizes are shipped only to a street address, not to a PO box. A winner who cannot give a street address in that territory forfeits the prize, which goes to an alternate winner. Tzun bears the risk of loss or damage until the carrier records delivery, and replaces a prize lost or damaged in transit with the same prize or, if it is unavailable, one of equal or greater ARV; the DGX Spark is shipped insured for its ARV, for delivery only to an adult who signs for it at that address.

12. Taxes

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on their prize. Tzun reports a prize to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC when its ARV reaches the federal reporting threshold, which in this sweepstakes means the DGX Spark only (ARV $5,299): before the DGX Spark is released, its winner must give Tzun a completed IRS Form W-9 with their taxpayer identification number, and Tzun sends them a copy of the Form 1099-MISC. If California requires Tzun to withhold state income tax on the DGX Spark because its winner lives outside California, Tzun pays that tax itself: nothing is taken from the prize, and the winner pays Tzun nothing; the tax Tzun pays may be added to the value reported on the winner’s Form 1099-MISC. The YubiKey two-packs and the glasses are below the threshold and need neither form.

13. Publicity

Tzun uses a winner’s name, photo, likeness, voice, city or state for publicity only with that winner’s separate written consent, which Tzun may ask for; claiming a prize does not need it, and saying no does not affect the prize. Without it, Tzun names a winner only as the draw proof does, by the position and digest of the winning entry record. Tzun’s photographs and video of the booth may show the booth screen, a winner’s card from the draw included (its drawing only as the privacy notice for entrants allows, under "Your drawing"), never with a winner’s name.

14. Privacy

Tzun collects and uses entrants’ information as the privacy notice for entrants describes, at verify.tzun.ai/e/disrupt-2026/privacy, also one tap away on the iPad and printed at the Tzun table. Your email address is used to send you a copy of your entry receipt and to contact you if you win, and to send you news from Tzun only if you ticked the separate box.

15. Conditions, limitation of liability and social media

By entering, entrants agree to these official rules and accept that Tzun’s decisions on every matter relating to the sweepstakes, made under these rules, are final and binding. Tzun may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process or the draw, knowingly enters more than once (section 6), gives false information, or acts in a disruptive or abusive way; a drawing that the game turns back and asks to be drawn again does not, on its own, disqualify anyone. If fraud, a technical failure or any other cause beyond Tzun’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper running of the sweepstakes, Tzun may suspend or cancel it; if Tzun cancels it, Tzun draws the prizes at random from the eligible entries, by the same published computation over the entries recorded before the problem, where possible. Tzun is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries or emails, or for printer, network or computer failures. To the extent the law allows, each entrant releases Tzun, TechCrunch and the organisers of TechCrunch Disrupt, NVIDIA, Viture and Yubico, and their officers, directors, employees and agents, from all liability for any injury, loss or damage arising from taking part in the sweepstakes or from accepting, possessing, using or misusing a prize. Social media. Tzun may mention this sweepstakes on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn or X. Those posts are announcements only. The sweepstakes cannot be entered on or through any social media platform, and liking, following, commenting on, sharing, reposting, tagging or messaging is not an entry and does not change anyone’s odds. The sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta Platforms, Inc. (including Instagram and Facebook), TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC and its affiliates, LinkedIn Corporation and its affiliates, the company that operates X and its affiliates, or any other social media platform (together, the "Platforms"). Entrants give their information to Tzun, not to the Platforms. To the extent the law allows, each entrant completely releases each Platform from, and agrees to hold each Platform harmless against, any and all liability arising out of or relating to the sweepstakes. Questions, comments and complaints go to Tzun at [email protected], not to the Platforms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These rules and the sweepstakes are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or connected with the sweepstakes is resolved individually, without any class action, in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California. To the extent the law allows, an entrant’s remedies are limited to their actual out-of-pocket costs of entering, and entrants waive any claim to punitive, incidental or consequential damages and attorneys’ fees.

17. Winners list and these rules

For the list of winners, which gives each prize, whether it was awarded and the position and digest of the entry record that won it, email [email protected] or write to Tzun at the address in section 2 by Fri 29 Jan 2027. These official rules are published at verify.tzun.ai/e/disrupt-2026/rules from before entries open until every prize is awarded, printed at the Tzun table, and one tap away on the iPad.
